The Master of Public Policy is a 2 year full-time equivalent course that provides a unique focus on public policy in northern contexts. The course draws together teaching and well supervised research projects that focus on the northern Australian region, in particular its remote context, the importance of Indigenous people and culture and its proximity to Southeast Asia.
The course is designed to prepare policy makers with the necessary knowledge and skills to engage in effective and ethical research in the region, across policy development, implementation and evaluation phases. It provides a unique opportunity to develop individual students analytical and research capacity through supervision with established public policy researchers, developers and evaluators working in northern contexts.
