A candidate for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy shall undertake a program of study and research approved by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor. The program shall include the presentation of a thesis and/or other work approved by the Committee, embodying the results of the candidate's study and research, for examination.
A supervisor or supervisors shall be appointed with the approval of the University and will provide direction and advice to the candidate.

Applicants into this course are required to provide: referees reports, research proposal outline (400-600 words), certified academic transcripts and other supporting documentation.

|You must have completed the equivalent of an Australian Bachelor degree with second class Honours division A, or an Australian Masters degree (with a substantial research component). Alternatively, you may have other qualifications and/or experience equivalent to these degrees.|

- Certified photocopies or a printout of supporting documents including all units/subjects with grades for qualifying degrees
- Research proposal
