This course offers graduates from a variety of disciplines the opportunity to pursue professional careers in information, records and knowledge management. Graduates will be well grounded in the fundamentals of information and knowledge management practices and processes: creating, capturing, describing, storing, disseminating and using information and knowledge in organisations. They will bring sound professional standards and ethics to the work environment; and be able to apply and adapt their skills and knowledge to a range of professional environments such as records, archives, indexing and publishing, in roles such as information managers, librarians, information consultants, and knowledge and technology managers. These positions are found throughout the corporate, government and private sectors.

This course is no longer available for admission. It is only open to existing students who have already been offered a place and completed one or more units of study.

Successful completion of a recognised bachelors degree or equivalent. Consideration will also be given to non-graduates who have at least five years appropriate professional experience.
