This course is designed to develop the key attributes and skills required by managers in areas of commerce, industry and the public sector. Candidates may choose to study a particular area or areas of administration. Students who do not complete the full course may qualify for an early exit award: a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration if they have successfully completed four units (40cps) or a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration if they have successfully completed eight units (80 cps).

Course transfer into the Master of Business Administration will not be permitted during 2010. Students who wish to transfer may apply from 2011.

Successful completion of a recognised bachelor's degree or the Graduate Certificate and/or Graduate Diploma in Business Administration. Non-graduates will be considered for admission on the basis of such criteria as professional qualifications with supporting evidence of significant accomplishment at work. Such applicants may be contacted by the School to supply detailed curriculum vitae.

The course consists of a total of twelve units or 120cps comprising four core units (40cps) plus one sequence of four units (40cps) or two sequences with four units from each (total 80cps) or a combination of a sequence plus four units from any of the other sequence or all eight units (80cps) selected from any of the available sequences.

Sequences (specialist electives) currently on offer focus on the following areas of study: Commercial Management, Enterprise Development and International Business.

A candidate must successfully complete units totalling 120 credit points as detailed below. All units are valued at 10 credit points unless indicated.
