Unit Description

This unit introduces students to the process of architectural documentation. Students will learn technical drawing skills required for the transfer of design ideas to 2D and 3D representations for both construction and presentation purposes. Students will apply their skills to a small-scale documentation project. Students will require a PC/laptop with quality graphics card to complete the documentation project.

Unit Learning Outcomes

1.	Evaluate all elements of the documentation process using appropriate terminology and conventions.
2.	Research, evaluate and apply materials and construction knowledge to produce architectural drawings.
3.	Apply technical drawing knowledge and skills to produce architectural drawings.
