Unit Description

This unit consolidates material, structure, construction, and drawing knowledge within the context of Australian codes, standards and regulation. Students further their learning in construction drawing and detailing; specifications and schedules; and evaluate the various Australian codes, standards and contracts used in professional practice.

Unit Learning Outcomes

1.	Critically evaluate environmental design, building technology and regulatory knowledge for medium to large scale building types.
2.	Critically apply materials and construction knowledge to produce architectural details and drawings.
3.	Apply advanced technical drawing knowledge and skills to produce architectural drawings.
