This unit is the first of three units designed to guide students through to the successful completion of a health research project and compilation of a written thesis that represents a significant contribution to knowledge in the relevant discipline. Students will work with their supervisor to refine their research question, literature review and methods. Students will develop and apply research and writing skills in the production of a health research thesis proposal and ethics application. Key study areas include critical analysis of research methodologies and literature, research communication, project management, research ethics and proposal development.
