| This unit examines broad structural, construction and environmental considerations and issues pertaining to the design and construction of commercial and other large scale buildings. The importance of technology integration is emphasised, including building structure, materials, construction, interior construction systems and finishes, environmental control and building services. Students will apply their building technology knowledge to develop construction details and drawings using appropriate communication methods.
