Unit Description

Only available for students of the CDU International College.

The aim of this unit is to help you develop the appropriate communication skills for business and professional careers. In this unit you will develop advanced knowledge of communication practices and theory within work cultures. You will also develop advanced competence in the communication skills required in these contexts.

Important Information

This unit is only available to students enrolled in the ZAMQP2 Accelerated International Masters Qualifying Prog.

Unit Learning Outcomes

1.	Identify, discuss and evaluate advanced communication theories and concepts for business and the professions.
2.	Apply reflective practice to improve their understanding of their own personal strengths, weaknesses and approaches to improve business communication competence.
3.	Critically evaluate, synthesize and apply advanced conflict management and negotiation theories and concepts to postgraduate studies in business settings.
4.	Develop, write and give presentations, provide constructive feedback to others and develop high level effective skills in business and professional communication.
