| This unit provides an overview of the main areas of theory and research in cognitive psychology. These include: perception, attention, memory, knowledge, visual imagery, language, problem solving, reasoning and decision making. There will be a special focus on language and perception asa central phenomenon in cognitive processes. Cross-cultural issues in cognitive psychology will be discussed. Cognitive psychology online experiments will be applied throughout the unit and demonstrate specific aspects of the unit materials.
