In this unit students will learn how the body responds and adapts to different environments, building on previous learnings in Exercise Physiology 1. Students will analyse how physiological factors influence exercise and sport performance, comparing impacts across sports and populations. Through in-person hands-on activities, students will learn to select and interpret appropriate physiological testing procedures. This unit will contribute to the knowledge and skills students require for accreditation as an Exercise Scientist with Exercise and Sport Science Australia (ESSA).
*This unit contains a 5-day intensive at the Casuarina campus. This is compulsory for ALL students to meet ESSA accreditation requirements*
