| This unit is an introduction to physics for students wishing to major in disciplines other than physics. The emphasis is on understanding the fundamental concepts of physics, such as kinematics, momentum & impulse, heat & thermodynamics, light & optics, waves, electricity, magnetism, and radioactivity and how the concepts are applied to several real-world situations. In this unit, students will use physics principles to describe, explain, and predict physical phenomena.
