Unit Description

This postgraduate unit prepares students for the business working environment to enhance employability outcomes. It follows a Work Integrated Learning approach in which students apply critical thinking to contemporary employability themes and develop the key skills required by managers in today's dynamic business environment. Topics encompass a broad range of practical business skills including professional communication. Students engage in simulated activities and tasks that reflect executive functions. Accordingly, students will be working individually and teams.

2.	Apply appropriate business etiquette in different workplaces.
3.	Identify and discuss the challenges professionals face in the current business environment.
