This course covers the following primary specialisations: Literacy/English, Numeracy/Mathematics, Science.
A candidate must successfully complete units totalling 320 credit points (cp) as detailed below. All units are valued at 10 credit points unless otherwise indicated.
This course has a requirement of 80 days of Professional Experience.
Professional Experience units MUST be undertaken in the following sequence:
- Prior to 2023: EPR100, EPR200, EPR201 or ERP211, EPR301
- From 2023: EPR200, ERP211, EPR301.
- From 2024: EPR220, EPR211, EPR301

- A minimum of 80 credit points must be taken from 300 level units or above.

If course commenced prior to 2023:
No more than 20 credit points shall be counted with a grade of "PC" in a Bachelor AQF Level 7 course award and no more than 10 credit points at "PC" may be received at the highest level of the program of learning.
If course commenced prior to 2013:
A maximum of 120 credit points may be taken from 100 level units.
A minimum of 40 credit points must be taken from 300 level units.
A maximum of 30 credit points shall be included with a grade of "PT" or "PC" or "PS".

ELA100 title changed from English Language and Literacy in Education 1 to English Language for Literacy.
EST303 title changed from Special Needs in the Classroom to Diverse Needs in the Classroom.
