COURSE CHANGES AND TRANSITIONAL ARRANGEMENTS - 2024
From 2024, the course structure has changed.
The Bachelor of Health Science unit requirements have been decreased from 200cp to 180cp and separated into two groups for core and specialist units.
> Bachelor of Health Science Core units - 140 credit points
> Bachelor of Health Science Specialist Elective units - 40 credit points
> Master of Nutrition Core units - increased from 120cp to 140cp
SBI150 and SCH104 have moved from Bachelor of Health Science core to Master of Nutrition core units.
- HSC203 replaced by HSC133. Students who have completed HSC203 do not complete HSC133.
- SWK312 replaced by NUR256. Students who have completed SWK213 do not need to complete NUR256.
- HCS111 has been added as a core unit. Students are required to complete this unit to meet all course requirements.
COURSE CHANGES AND TRANSITIONAL ARRANGEMENTS - 2022
PSY140 has been replaced by PSY150. Students that have completed PSY140 prior to 2022 should not complete PSY150.
Course Changes - 2021
Please note the following course structure changes:
- MLS245 Medical Biochemistry has been replaced by SBI150 Cellular Biology. Students who have already completed MLS245 do not need to complete SBI150.
- HSC230 Cultural Safety in Health has been replaced by HSC220 Society, Culture and Health: A Sociological Introduction. Students who have already completed HSC230 do not need to complete HSC220.
- NUT508 Nutrition Assessment and Dietary Methodologies has been added as a Master of Nutrition core unit.
- PHM553 Biostatistics has been removed and is no longer required.
