- A maximum of 100 credit points may be taken from 100 level units.
- A minimum of 60 credit points must be taken from 300 level units or above.

If course commenced prior to 2023:
No more than 20 credit points shall be counted with a grade of "PC" in a Bachelor AQF Level 7 course award and no more than 10 credit points at "PC" may be received at the highest level of the program of learning.

The Bachelor of Social Work has been re-accredited to a new course code from 2024 - WSCWK2.
Students who to continue in the WSCWK1 should note the following changes. Students who are unable to complete this course prior to the end of 2027 should consider transferring to the new course WSCWK2.
- CUC107 Cultural Intelligence and Capability has been replaced by IAS201 Cultural Capabilities. Students that have completed CUC107 should not complete IAS1201.
- CUC100 Academic Literacies Through Exploring Sustainability has been replaced by LAL100 Language, Literacy and Sustainability. Students that have completed CUC100 should not complete LAL100.
- IAS123 Sociological Perspectives has been replaced by SWK104 Professional Foundations of Social Work. Students that have completed IAS123 should not complete SWK104.
- SWK330 Field Education A has been replaced by SWK230 Field Education A. Students that have completed SWK330 should not complete SWK230.
- SWK430 Field Education B has been replaced by SWK470 Field Education B. Students that have completed SWK430 should not complete SWK470.
