The Master of Health Emergency Preparedness and Response is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills and expertise to contribute in a leadership role to the preparedness and response to health emergencies across the three pillars of natural disasters, human made disasters and communicable disease outbreak events. The course addresses frameworks and standards for health emergency preparedness and response at an international, national and local level, requires critical reflection on clinical and non clinical care health emergencies practice requirements and the implementation of humanitarian, cultural safety and quality standards on health care provision, access and individual agency. |
