This microcredential gives an overview of securing the organisations business assets based on risk management approach.
Students will:
- develop an understanding of the risks and defense mechanisms for:
- network
- application
- physical, and
- wireless security
- gain insight into:
- the fundamental concepts of modern cryptography and its applications in cybersecurity
- foot printing
- enumeration and
- social engineering aspects
- wireless networks, desktop, and operating system vulnerabilities
- gain an understanding of the steps and process of network defense.
Term 1: This course will be delivered between 13th February 2024 and 6th April 2024 - two hours per week for eight weeks.
