To ensure a positive outcome for the student, all students entering the program must provide evidence they have access to or are engaged with a Registered Training Organisation or organisation where accredited training is being provided or an environment which reflects the training package requirements of access to a suitable practice environment where candidates have access to a learner cohort and time to develop their practice with learners.
Those entering this skill set must be able to demonstrate vocational competence in their proposed training and assessing area. Vocational competence is defined as broad industry knowledge and experience, and may include, but is not limited to, holding a relevant unit of competency or qualification.
Candidates require:
- Computer skills to produce professional business documents.
- Access to a computer with system requirements as detailed for Learnline
Access to:
- information about learner and candidate core skill levels
- texts and tasks specific to the workplace, learning and assessment contexts described in the performance evidence
- learners and candidates.
- colleagues with skills, knowledge and experience in foundation skills.
This entry requirement will be discussed at enrolment and is also contained within the course flyer. Students complete a language, literacy and numeracy quiz (LLN Robot) before entering the program. This quiz is used to establish:
- whether the student is in the correct qualification level to be successful,
- whether any special needs exist for the student.
