In recent years, the rise in communicable disease outbreaks, natural disasters, and human-made disasters has had a profound impact on global health. These events demand a coordinated, multi-agency response that includes health agencies. In this unit you will learn about the frameworks that guide health emergency preparedness and response at global, national, and regional levels. The course aims to equip students with the fundamental principles, knowledge, and skills needed to effectively contribute as team members in health emergency preparedness and response efforts.
This course would be suitable for health professionals working in acute, primary, or public health areas in government and non-government organisations.
