| In this unit, students will be required to undertake comprehensive database searches to locate relevant original studies for systemic analysis, screen and identify the final eligible studies, and critically appraise the final included studies. Upon completion of this unit, students will be required to develop two comprehensive research reports to detail the literature search, screening and extraction process, and the critical appraisal of the included studies, respectively. This unit is the second in a sequence of three systematic review project units in which students undertaking the Bachelor of Nursing Honours or Bachelor of Midwifery Honours must enrol to complete their Honours research project. The Honours research project consists of 60 credit points, with each of the three units accounting for 20 credit points. In this unit, students will continue to work with their allocated academic supervisor to implement the systematic review project following the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) Method for Systematic Review Research. |
