This unit will introduce students to the concepts of communications skills in the context of biomedical science and health care. They will learn and apply the principles of effective communication and clinical reasoning. The topic will also include an overview of the scientific method and evidence based medicine and will emphasise the importance of identifying and using quality sources of information.
