| This unit supports preservice teachers to develop their knowledge and understanding of the range of pedagogical approaches required to engage senior secondary students critically and creatively to develop innovative digital solutions for a range of problems. Preservice teachers will critically engage with current and emerging research to inform their practice for guiding Year 11 and Year 12 students through the process of analysing, designing, coding, validating, and evaluating solutions. Preservice teachers will draw on their content knowledge of digital technologies, including coding, to create synchronous and asynchronous learning environments for students that may be online, simulated, collaborative, and iterative, using inquiry-led, project-based learning styles. |
