The process of contextualising knowledge and skills and applying them in regional social and cultural settings is an important and valuable outcome from studies in the arts and social science. In this unit, students apply their learning and adapt their knowledge and skills to meet the needs of different social and cultural contexts. Opportunity exist for students to immerse themselves in a language setting, work with an international agency, spend dedicated time with an international or regional artist or designer or build networks for future professional opportunities overseas or in regional north Australia.
Placements can be up to 75 hours and can be arranged as one or a number of placement components.
