This unit invites students to develop and amplify their creative or performance strengths by identifying and analysing a range of principles, ideas, theories and techniques and selecting some that align with their interests, and applying these to their practice.
Based on the discipline selected in previous years, students deepen their studies in one of the following: Music, Screen Media Arts, or Visual Arts.
Students plan and apply a creative process involving research to inform their artmaking or performances, with the aim of communicating a concept to an audience. Students develop skills in offering and accepting constructive critique to improve their and others' creative and performance work.
Students must demonstrate safe, sustainable, and inclusive practices in their creative or performance practices.
