In this unit students will be introduced to the disciplines of prehistory, archaeology and anthropology. They will interpret Indigenous traces on the landscape and consider research protocols and ethics in relation to ownership, dissemination and maintenance of knowledge. Students will examine legislation pertaining to cultural sites, assess the management of cultural sites, and undertake a field trip to sites of rich archaeological significance.
