Completion of at least 160 credit points of prior study.
In this unit, students develop and extend their studies into areas of specific interest or applicability to their chosen profession. The study must demonstrate an examination and interpretation of the literature along a question aligned to issues that draw upon and extend their studies. Students are appointed a supervisor to oversee an in-depth study or research project determined in consultation with relevant staff. Students are required to manage the process of the research work under close supervision and regular contact with the appointed supervisor.
This unit can be taken as a 10-credit point unit over one semester, or as a repeatable unit totalling 20 credit points over 2 semesters. Students must consult with the Unit Coordinator prior to enrolment.
