Research Paper is intended for students undertaking or planning to undertake Honours. This unit will enable students to undertake independent legal research and writing on a topic selected by the student and approved by the unit coordinator.
The unit develops research, analytical and legal writing skills. The papers are assessed by the unit coordinator in consultation with the relevant supervisor and other experts as appropriate.
A minimum of 5.2 GPA requirement is needed to enrol in the Research Paper and they have completed at least 160cp of law units. In addition, the student must find an academic who is willing to supervise their research.
