How can we best connect with and protect our environment through reading, writing and journalism? This unit explores impactful and moving writing and reportage about the environment and climate change. Here, you'll be introduced to the greats of environmental and climate writing, learn ways to write and report effectively and engagingly on current environmental issues, and better understand how audiences respond and connect to environmental communication, news, and features. Students will hone their appreciation for the ways in which communicators can produce their best work in this space, while also developing writing and reporting techniques tailored to elevating and investigating solutions to one of our world's greatest crises.
