LANTITE Information
The national Literacy and Numeracy Test for Initial Teacher Education (LANTITE) is administered by the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) and assesses the personal literacy and numeracy skills of students enrolled in Initial Teacher Education (ITE) programs. All students enrolled in ITE courses must sit LANTITE during their first year of study. You are required to make at least one attempt at both the Literacy and Numeracy tests in your first year; however, you are not required to meet the test standard at that time.
LANTITE Resources
All ITE students will be provided with access to LANTITE Central on Learnline. LANTITE Central contains essential introductory information, step-by-step test preparation guides, practice activities, and resources designed to help you identify and strengthen areas of literacy and numeracy need. Additional support is available through LANTITE workshops delivered by the CDU Library. For more information about the test, visit the Literacy and Numeracy Test for Initial Teacher Education Students page.
