Master of Clinical Audiology (SAUD01)

Course Structure

Our Master of Clinical Audiology comprises 160 credit points. The course covers theoretical and foundational knowledge, diagnostics testing, paediatrics, and rehabilitation, all of which is put into practice through simulations and professional practice experiences. It includes 50 days of clinical audiology practice in multidisciplinary health contexts with adults, children, and families.

A candidate must successfully complete units totalling 160 credit points (cp) as detailed below. All units are valued at 10 credit points unless otherwise indicated.

Note: Face-to-face compulsory intensive information
The course includes four blocks of 5-day face-to-face compulsory teaching intensives. Some units are co-taught in the same intensive block.

Face-to-face compulsory intensive block 1: AUD501 and AUD502
Face-to-face compulsory intensive block 2: AUD503, AUD504, AUD505 and AUD511
Face-to-face compulsory intensive block 3: AUD515 and AUD514**
Face-to-face compulsory intensive block 4: AUD523 and AUD524**

Students who have completed PHM516 should not complete IAS547.
