This 80-credit point course consists of core units building on a foundation of healthcare knowledge and skills. This course will introduce concepts of management, leadership, cultural safety as applied to the clinical context and skills in facilitating clinical learners.

A candidate must successfully complete units totalling 80 credit points as detailed below. All units are valued at 10 credit points unless indicated.

COURSE CHANGES AND TRANSITIONAL ARRANGEMENTS - 2026

MAN514 Management for the Executive has been replaced by MAN517 Executive Leadership. Students that have completed MAN514 should not complete MAN517.

COURSE TEACH OUT ARRANGEMENTS - 2025

TNUR01 Graduate Diploma of Nursing is in teach out from Semester 1 2025.

HEA519 Quality and Safety in Healthcare has been replaced by HEA507 Safety and Quality in Health Care. Students that have completed HEA519 should not complete HEA507.
HEA572 Applied Health Project A (20cp) has been replaced by NUR601 Nursing Project 1. Students that have completed HEA572 should not complete NUR601.
The final offering of HEA573 Applied Health Project B (20cp) will be Sem 1 2025. From Sem 2 2025 HEA573 will be replaced by NUR602 Nursing Project 2. Students that have completed HEA573 should not complete NUR602.
