This qualification covers competencies for work entry program providing grounding in safety and basic skills and knowledge for work in any electrotechnology discipline.

No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.

UEE22020 Certificate II in Electrotechnology - 2026

Accreditation
This is a current, nationally accredited qualification from the UEE Electrotechnology Training Package.

Locations and Study Mode
Delivery at all locations is subject to sufficient demand and resources.

Locations: Casuarina

Study Mode: On campus, online, both, workplace assessment

Subject to demand other locations and modes may become available throughout the year.

Entry Requirements Domestic

A Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Literacy (LLND) evaluation helps identify any areas where you may need additional support to help you achieve your goals.

To gain entry into UEE22020 Certificate II in Electrotechnology as a VET in Secondary Schoool Student (VSS), candidates require:

Submit an expression of interest via the secondary school they are enrolled in and undertake an LL&N test.
Students are required to have completed Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training prior to commencing qualification

Required Resources

Students are issued with learning resources.

Students will need to provide stationary items and PPE at their own expense. Further details will be provided by the lecturer.

This program is delivered over a period of 1 year part-time. The length of time to complete this qualification will depend on the location, study mode and/or units selected and will vary depending upon how long a student takes to reach the required competency level.

Student Visa holders must study internally full time
