This accredited course provides Minimum Australian Context Gap training to holders of an Offshore Technical Skills Record (OTSR) or Australian Technical Competencies Statement (ATCS) for the UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (or successor).

Possible occupations relevant to this qualification include:   

• Electrician

To ensure you have the right skills and support to succeed in your course, a Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Literacy (LLND) evaluation helps identify areas for additional support, and students must also have sufficient digital literacy to complete online assessments.

To gain entry into this course student must fulfil the below requirements:

• be an NT resident
• hold an Offshore Technical Skills Record (OTSR) or Australian Technical Competencies Statement (ATCS) for a UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (or successor);
• hold a provisional/restricted licence issued by NT WorkSafe
• be engaged (employed) as an electrical worker; and
• hold a certificate of currency for resuscitation (CPR) within the last twelve months and can provide a certificate of currency.
