This qualification covers competencies for work entry program providing grounding in safety and basic skills and knowledge for work in any electrotechnology discipline.

Possible occupations relevant to this qualification include: 

• Electrotechnology Career Start Trainee
• Electrical Trade Assistant
• Telecommunications Trade Assistant

To ensure you have the right skills and support to succeed in your course, a Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Literacy (LLND) evaluation helps identify any areas where you may need additional support to help you achieve your goals.

To gain entry into UEE22020 Certificate II in Electrotechnology as a VET in Secondary School student (VSS), candidates are required to:

• Submit an expression of interest via the secondary school they are enrolled in and undertake an LL&N test.
