This short course explores the elements of programming, using the Python language to illustrate coding principles. You will learn how to create programs using Python.
This short course will provide an introduction to a first programming language (Python), including:
- basics of the Python language
- basic control structures common across languages
- concepts and technologies associated with platform-independent programming
Active Learning:
- Combine practical experience in using Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) to create programming solutions to problems (using Python).
Term 4, 2025:
- This course will be delivered between 9th October 2025 and 8th December 2025 - two hours per week over seven to eight weeks.
