Certificate IV in Cyber Security is a technician-level course. It provides participants with the knowledge and a range of technical skills to enable them to seek employment as a cyber security technician in a range of organisations and government bodies.
The industry outcomes of the course are the ability to:
- respond to and monitor cyber security events in an organisation
- use a range of tools and procedures to mitigate cyber security threats
- protect an organisation from insider security breaches
- develop systems to minimise network vulnerabilities and risks
- recognise implications using cloud based services
- work effectively as a member of a cyber security team.
