This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of Business Services job roles. These individuals may have supervisory performance accountabilities.

Individuals in these roles carry out a mix of specialist and moderately complex administrative or operational tasks that require self-development skills.

They use well-developed skills and a broad knowledge base to apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems and analyse information from a variety of sources.

They may provide leadership and guidance to others with some limited responsibility for the output of others.

Start Date	February 2, 2026 Students can enrol at any time after the identified start date and will commence at the start of the next available unit. A specific commencement date will be determined in consultation with the delivery team. A course timetable/study plan will be provided on application for the course.
Attendance	Tuesdays and Thursdays (Online) 5:00pm - 7:00pm

Accreditation
This is a current, nationally accredited qualification from the BSB Business Services Training Package.

Locations and Study Mode
Delivery at all locations is subject to sufficient demand and resources.

Entry Requirements Domestic

Students may be required to undertake a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LL&N) assessment to establish support requirements for this qualification. A Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Literacy (LLND) evaluation helps identify any areas where you may need additional support to help you achieve your goals.

To gain entry into BSB40120 Certificate IV in Business, it is preferred candidates have:

BSB30120 Certificate III in Business or other relevant qualifications and/or
Relevant vocational experience.

Required Resources
Students will have 24/7 access to assessments and learning resources on CDU's online learning platform Learnline. Before using Learnline however, students will need to ensure that their computer has the correct setup.

This program is delivered over a period of 18 months. The length of time to complete this qualification will depend on the location, study mode and/or units selected and will vary depending upon how long a student takes to reach the required competency level.
