To achieve CHC40221 Certificate IV in School Based Education Support, a total of seventeen (17) units of competency must be completed comprising thirteen (13) core and four (4) elective units as detailed in the packaging rules and listed below.

- up to 2 units from the electives listed below, elsewhere in the CHC Community Services Training Package, or any other current Training Package or accredited course
