This unit introduces students environmental building design focusing on heat, light, sound and sustainability. Students will learn to apply design principles and strategies used to design buildings that are energy efficient and minimise impact on natural resources and environment. Lighting, acoustics and materials will be evaluated to achieving optimal indoor environmental quality.
