| In this unit, students will develop practical knowledge and skills in the research process inclusive of: critique of the literatures, identification and addressment of ethical principles and processes, preparation of a research proposal, conduct data collection and analysis, and disseminate findings in a written report. Students will undertake an independent research project in an area of nutrition; the topic should be current, relevant and attempt to fill identified gaps in the literature, policy and/or practice. Students are expected to work both independently and in liaison with identified supervisor(s). The project scope needs to be achievable for completion and dissemination in the designated time frame. |
