Unit Catalogue

This unit provides students with the core knowledge required to successfully study human anatomy and physiology. The unit begins by investigating the chemical, cellular and tissue levels of structural organisation of the human body in relation to the integumentary, digestive, lymphatic, urinary and nervous systems. Students will learn the terminology, structure and function of these organ systems and how they work together to maintain homeostasis. Students are also introduced to the study skills required to successfully learn anatomy and physiology in relation to the integumentary, digestive, lymphatic, urinary and nervous systems.
