| Hearing Aids focusses on the theory and practice of device fitting as part of aural rehabilitation. Through lectures and online activities, students will learn to about the selection of hearing devices, fitting, and follow-up. Practical skills in ear impression taking, device selection, device fitting, and verification will be included. Students are expected to attend a 5 day face-to-face intensive at the Casuarina or Sydney Campus as part of their learning in this subject. This intensive occurs during the same week as those planned for AUD504, AUD505, and AUD511. Students will be expected to pay for their intensive related expenses such as transport and accommodation. |
