What stories do you want to tell through your art? What audiences do you want to reach? How can you collaborate with other creative people to generate greater impact?
This unit invites students from across the arts and other disciplines to consider the power of creative collaboration.
Develop strategies to communicate your ideas effectively and persuasively to others; strategies to work as a team member; and to develop work collaboratively, practicing when and how to lead a group and when and how to contribute to group work.
This unit is project-driven and facilitated by creative practitioner/academics. Working in teams, students respond to a story to develop a creative work in any media (visual, film, music, performance) and present the work in a physical or digital space. The unit prepares students for work on collaborative projects and to evaluate how to tell a story to an audience with impact.
Note: Students must participate in scheduled classes (in-person or online synchronous classes) for discussion and collaboration to occur.
Internal students present their projects at the end of the semester at the Casuarina campus.
External students present their projects at the end of the semester online.
