In this unit you will undertake an in-depth examination of safety and quality in health care. Safety and quality in health care is aligned to legislation, standards, governance structures, accreditation, risk management, ethical practices, and open disclosure. This unit examines these key areas and how they are used in healthcare. You will engage with evidence and research as they undertake inquiry-based learning to build their knowledge of safety and quality in health care.
This unit is only available to students enrolled in the USQHC1 Graduate Certificate of Safety and Quality in Health Science Delivery, UOPNC1 Graduate Certificate of Older Person Nursing Care, and SCNU01 Master of Clinical Nursing.
