This unit provides students with an introduction to theories and concepts of ethics, as well as key areas such as bioethics, risk, consent and benefit. Students will be introduced to the core principles for the application of ethics in health care and research. There is an exploration of how ethics is applied within the healthcare setting, particularly related to the practices across health promotion, health services management, public health and allied health professions.
