Unit Description

In this law honours thesis unit students are required to complete a significant research thesis of 18,000 - 20,000 words. The research topic is proposed by the student and supported by their supervisor and course coordinator. The submitted thesis will reflect the product of legal research and analysis on the approved topic and will be assessed on the basis of demonstrated skills in legal research, legal analysis and legal writing.

Important Information

Only students enrolled in the the Bachelor of Laws Honours (VLAWH2) are eligible to enrol in this unit.

Online enrolment is not available. Students should prepare a study plan in conjunction with the Course Coordinator and Supervisor as part of their research project planning and can then enrol by completing the Special Enrolment form accessed via the eForms tile through CDU Portal.
