In this law honours thesis unit, students are required to complete a significant research thesis of 18,000 - 20,000 words. The research topic is proposed by the student and supported by their supervisor and course coordinator. The submitted thesis will reflect the product of legal research and analysis on the approved topic and will be assessed on the basis of demonstrated skills in legal research, legal analysis and legal writing.
This unit is for students enrolled in the Bachelor of Laws Honours and completing their course part time. Upon completion of this 20cp unit, students are to enrol in LWZ713 - Law Honours Research Thesis C to meet the 40cp research unit component and submit their thesis at the end of the second semester.
