Unit Catalogue

This unit provides the framework for the exploration, development and testing of architectural ideas and strategies within the design process. Students develop architectural design methodologies and processes for the resolution of complex public buildings through the exploration of space and place, materiality, structure, construction and environmental contexts. In a process of research, analysis, conceptual design and design resolution students learn to balance contextual, social, environmental, material and programmatic demands of an architectural project.
