Unit Catalogue

This postgraduate unit will provide pre-service teachers with in-depth knowledge of the pedagogical approaches and practices required to teach digital technology in senior secondary school. Pre-service teachers will appraise a range of digital technologies in relation to the Australian Curriculum, with a focus on the developing high-level skills to teach digital technologies at senior secondary level. Through a cross-curricular approach to teaching and learning, pre-service teachers will be provided with the opportunity to evaluate and apply diverse curriculum perspectives and pedagogical practices relative to their teaching contexts. This unit will also enhance pre-service teacher's skills to think critically, creatively, and constructively through technological applications and digital pedagogies.
